SAFCOL Mechanized Harvesting Learnerships 2025
SAFCOL invites unemployed youth to apply for Mechanized Harvesting Learnership Programme 2024 / 2025.
Learnership Location: Platorand Training Center, Sabie, Mpumalanga Province
Learnership Application Closing Date: 09 October 2024
Programme Details:
- Duration: 10 months
- Qualification: National Certificate in Forestry: Harvesting (NQF Level 3)
- Stipend: Monthly stipend provided during the learnership
- Outcome: Participants gain skills to improve their employment prospects with forestry companies or start their own SMME.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Age: 18 to 35 years old
- Citizenship: Must be a South African Citizen
- Education: Must have successfully passed matric (Grade 12)
- Interest: Must have a passion for the forestry environment and be comfortable working outdoors

- Certified copy of Matric certificate

Important Notes:
- Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged individuals, people living with disabilities, black females, and youth from communities where SAFCOL has Social Compact agreements.
